As part of team, Planners Collaborative analyzed land use and development impact issues, the socio-economic characteristics of the community, urban design and streetscape improvements, pedestrian safety needs at major intersections along the Columbus Avenue corridor, and signage needs.In examining the major development proposals in and adjacent to the community, Planners Collaborative supported the project team for preparing a build-out analysis. This build-out analysis was then used to test different growth scenarios, their potential impact on traffic in the corridor, and steps that could be taken to control the associated impacts.
